In an effort to beat out the release of the iPhone 8 and to help mitigate the explosive reputation of their last iteration, Samsung has released Galaxy S8 series. Upon first glance it’s apparent that Samsung went all-in with their bezel-less display, allowing the picture to gently fall off the side of the phone in an infinity pool fashion.

It’s also available in an S8+ option, boasting a 6.2-inch screen as opposed to the stock 5.8-inch S8 version. Each phone is also powered by the tech giant’s Octa core, 2.3 GHz processors and comes equipped with 4GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, an 8MP camera in the rear and a 12MP camera in the front. The selfie-friendly smartphone also comes stock with an IP68 dust and water-resistance rating and a 3000mAh battery and 3500mAh battery for the S8 and S8+ respectively. Also, with this newest iteration, it looks like Samsung has finally begun competing with Siri thanks to their rollout of the Bixby virtual assistant feature. More info is due to be released in the coming days but interested parties can pre-order theirs now from Samsung. [Purchase]
