Salewa Ultra Flex Mid GTX

If you were to combine the light and breathable elements of a pair of running shoes with the rugged build of a hiking boot, we’re pretty sure that the ideal outcome would look something like the Salewa Ultra Flex Mid GTX.

This hybrid running shoe and hiking boot is being slated as an update on the previous Ultra Train GTX. Fitted with a featherweight upper made from a waterproofed elastic nylon material, the shoe has a flexible and agile feel to it that lends itself to more dynamic movements like fast paced hikes and trail runs. To round out the support, the German shoe company also included their patented Flex Collar, allowing for flexibility and stability where it counts. To round it all out – the Ultra Flex Mid GTX will be sporting a brand new tough Michelin outsole styled after mountain bike tires. No matter where you take these, you’ll never loose your grip. Keep an eye on these – they’ll be available in July of this year. [Purchase]
