If conquering a peak to absorb the unbelievable view is your way of finding tranquility, Salewa has the gear to get you to the top. Their latest jacket is engineered for fast-moving alpine aficionados and has already nabbed the 2019 ISPO Award.
The Salewa Pedroc Alpine Wool Perform Jacket boasts a new insulation material, combining pure Tirolean mountain sheep wool with thermo-regulating ‘Celliant’ functional fibers. The Tirolean mountain sheep make durable wool with high lanolin content, making it ideal for keeping mountain climbers warm, even when it gets wet. And, ‘Celliant’ is a proprietary mix of 13 thermo-reactive minerals that work with the wool for unrivaled warmth. The result is a 50-gram lightweight jacket to keep you toasty on the peaks. For further functionality, the jacket also has wind-resistant nylon with light rain repellency for year-round protection and packs down for easy storage and transportation. Expect the Alpine Wool Perform to be available in July.
