RVs with one level aren’t cool. You know what’s cool? RVs with two levels. That was presumably the thinking behind the SAIC Maxus Life Home V90 Villa Edition, a wild new RV that boasts a telescoping second floor and an elevator to reach it.
SAIC Maxus is a Chinese RV-maker, and their Life Home V90 is a perfectly-competent RV that’s priced around $71,000. But it doesn’t really have any “wow” factor in its standard form, and that’s where the Villa Edition comes in. The ultra-luxe camper has a nicely-appointed living room, bathroom, and full kitchen on its first floor, while the second floor — which, again, is accessible by a real functioning elevator — boasts a glass-enclosed tea room/study along with an open-air terrace. The outside of the RV is also pretty slick, with custom LED lighting and “polychromatic phantom geometric space lamination glaze color coating,” which, according to SAIC Maxus, enhances the artistic and futuristic feeling of the RV.
