Aston Martin Unveils Its First-Ever Private Residence With A $7.7M Mansion

While Aston Martin is best known for its world-class luxury vehicles, the elite British marque routinely takes part in non-automotive projects, with the last year alone having seen AM collaborate with third parties on everything from a TAG Heuer chronograph, to a racing sim, to an Airbus ACH130 helicopter, to a Brough Superior motorcycle, to a  wildly prestigious Bowmore single malt. And after unveiling its “Automotive Galleries and Lairs” project at last year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Aston Martin has now revealed the first-ever complete private residential estate designed by the illustrious carmaker.

Located two hours north of Manhattan in Rhinebeck, New York, the thoroughly modern dwelling was born out of a partnership with S3 Architecture. Boasting 5,983-square feet of luxurious living space, the Sylvan Rock Residence features four bedrooms and full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, a large pool and deck, and a three-car garage. In addition to the geometric-roofed structure, the property includes a tree-house, an 873sq-ft pool house with its own indoor hot-tub, three 1,574sq-ft guest cabins—or “Guest Pods”—and a special Onyx Black DBX SUV from AM’s bespoke Q Division. The S3 Architecture x Aston Martin Sylvan Rock Residence is currently for sale, priced at $7,700,000.
