A lot of iconic toys came out of the 1980s – from Transformers to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. However, none of them were as iconic or influential as the Rubik’s Cube. In fact, that very puzzle box’s form is still influencing people today, as it did Anesis – the folks behind the Rubika bookcase.

Part home decor, part optical illusion, this shelving unit is a gorgeous piece of furniture perfect for storing and displaying all of your favorite books and tchotchkes while still remaining an interesting piece on its own. It’s built from MDF (medium-density fiberboard) and finished with your choice of veneer or colored lacquer – so you can match all three units that make up the shelf with the decor already in your house. You’ll have to contact the brand about pricing and availability, however, as they are made to order.
