What do you do if your endless search from the perfect skid lid bears no fruit? You do like Rough Crafts from Taiwan and develop a brain bucket that perfectly meets your needs, as they have done with their Revolator carbon fiber motorcycle helmet.
Rough Crafts have always found it a little tough to acquire helmets that matched the look of their bitchin custom bikes while still providing the modern convenience and protection levels we have come to expect from a contemporary moto cap. Building the outer shell from multi-layer carbon fiber enabled for the feather like 1100g weight, while the interior shell is sculpted from a multi-density EPS foam that can handle a wallop without transferring the impact to your cranium. The comfortable liner is made from an anti-microbial synthetic that performs better than other materials under heat and perspiration. Currently the Revolator is only sporting an ECE approval, so us Stateside moto manics may have to sit tight for a DOT version to be produced.
