RoomScan App Draws Instant Floor Plans

So maybe you’re not Bob Vila or Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, but you still need to get the dimensions of your place (or place to be). Forget the laser-based measure and whip out your iPhone or iPad instead and let RoomScan do the job for free.

All you have to do it is touch each wall with your device and the app draws up your floor plans within seconds, giving you both the wall lengths and square footage to the nearest half a foot. The makers say RoomScan can draw floor plans of L-shaped and complex rooms just as easily as small rectangular rooms, and measurements are available in metric, feet & inches, or if you really wanna get creative, East Asian units.
