Rocket-powered skates have always been a staple in animation, frequently appearing in shows like Looney Tunes. Soon, you’ll be able to own your own pair with the world’s first electric skates named the Rocketskates R5.

While these skates aren’t actually powered by rockets (unfortunately), they’re powered by two 50W DC Hub electric motor that pushes them to 7 mph. They’ll last for up to 5 miles on a single charge, and they have a charging time of 90 minutes. They connect to your smartphone via their own app to show statistics, allow you to change speed settings, allow you to control the skates via remote control, and you can even save your route and share it with friends.
