With the annual Geneva Motor Show looming just a couple days away, all of the biggest players in the auto industry are flexing their guns by dropping sneak peaks of their latest and greatest they will offering in the upcoming year. As with many years past, electric cars can easily steal the show from their petrol powered counterparts, and Rimac Automobili is set to be the talk of the town as they have just revealed the Concept_Two electric hypercar.
Built from the ground up as a completely different car than the previously released Concept_One, Rimac went back to the drawing board to design the full carbon monocoque chassis and integrated battery system. Built with four massive motors that are capable of instant torque delivery, the new Rimac can jolt from 0-60 in 1.85-seconds and has a top speed of 258 mph, with a maximum power output of 1,914 hp. The C_Two draws its power from a 120 kWh pack that can deliver two laps around the Nürburgring circuit at full power, a little over 32 miles, or will propel the hypercar for 400-miles of touring miles under traditional conditions. In addition to being the world’s fastest car, the C_Two boasts Level 4 AI capabilities, which prepares the hypercar to be fully autonomous in most situations, making it one of the smartest cars on the planet to boot!
