Aftermarket off-road lighting and parts purveyor, RIGID already offers a slew of high-end auxiliary LED offerings and other truck upgrades, though the Arizona-based outfit’s newest lighting rig very well may be their most advanced and innovative light to date. Christened, the ‘Adapt’, the new system uses a bevy of sensors to detect lighting levels in order to automatically make adjustments on the fly to ensure optimal lighting conditions at any given moment.
Offered in a 10”, 20”, 30”, 40”, and 50” size, the Adapt bar packs a total of eight selectable beam pattern modes. Reportedly a world first, this technology also actively monitors real-time vehicle speed and can make necessary on-the-fly tweaks, plus the rig gets a built-in RGB accent lighting setup that enables the user to select from any color in the spectrum. A molded, back-lit dashboard controller also comes with the RIGID Adapt, plus all the necessary wiring and mounting hardware. On top of giving the Adapt a unique industrial design, RIGID has also bestowed its new system with an improved range of mounting options, including a base-mounting set up that affords a wider range of areas to fix the lights to a 4×4. Offering a 50,000+ hour lifespan, the RIGID Adapt starts at $872.
