The world of electric cars is finally starting to get exciting. Following in the footsteps of the beloved Tesla Model S, Renovo is debuting the first American built all-electric supercar in the simply-named Coupe.

When it comes to aesthetics, this beautiful looking 2-door was inspired by the 1964 Shelby Daytona Coupe. But when it comes to technology, this thing adopts everything available from today’s tech scene. The vehicle is equipped with an electric drivetrain that produces 500 horsepower alongside 1,000 lb-ft torque, helping this thing sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in just under 3.4 seconds. Renovo’s new lightweight battery can be charged in just 30 minutes, and helps the vehicle reach a top speed exceeding 120 miles per hour, with a 100-plus mile range. Unveiled at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Coupe is set to release in 2015 with a sticker price of $529,000. Watch the video below.
