Renault SYMBIOZ Concept Car

Fusing together the concepts of transportation and living space, the Renault SYMBIOZ Concept is an all-electric, self-driving luxurious automobile of the future. Obviously still in its conceptual phase, the goal here was to create a comfortable home living quarters right in the cabin of the vehicle. Looks like they succeeded in that regard.

Calling the ride a “cocoon of comfort,” Renault functions off of various self-driving modes in case manual driving isn’t a desired option for the trip. In that case, the driver’s seat swivels a full 180 degrees while in “lounge mode” making you readily available to socialize with other passengers and enjoy the incredibly plush interior. We’re talking amenities comprised of copper, marble, fabric and porcelain and an electric motor that charges to 80% in just 20 minutes. The car would also seamlessly sync up with your home displaying visitors on the dash cam when you’re away and actually powering the home itself when not in use. Sounds far-fetched we know, but Renault is hoping to have this ride become a reality by 2023.
