French auto maker Renault has caused quite a stir among car enthusiasts with their latest concept offering, the Renault Dezir. Stunning to look at, the vehicle is looking to to the future with a battery fueled power plant.

This two seater Renault has been outfitted with a vertically-mounted 24kw/h lithium-ion battery that pumps out 150 horsepower along with 166 ft-lb of torque. Renault took some chances on the aesthetic appeal as well implementing unique reverse hinged butterfly doors. The result is a great looking vehicle that will hit 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just under 5 seconds.
