Tesla Model S Shooting Brake

The station wagon is a staple of the American garage. Also known as a Shooting Brake, station wagons are emblematic of the American family road trip, and it seems natural that this ancient symbol receives an electric upgrade for the modern world. By taking a Tesla Model S and transforming it, the RemetzCar custom shop has done just that in producing the Tesla Model S Shooting Brake.

RemetzCar stripped down a brand new model S and reworked its contours to reimagine a Shooting Brake electric car for the contemporary road-tripper. Using 3D modeling, the engineers constructed a beautifully-contoured shape over the skeletal remains of the Tesla, customizing it with a new roof and tailgate that provides the customary long body of the station wagon, and the smooth, elegant shape befitting a Tesla. Hand-shaped chrome moldings line the exterior of the vehicle, which remains fully electric, a far cry from the gas guzzlers of yesteryear. Custom tail lights, interior lining, reversing camera and even a third brake light were added to the bespoke model S.
