While most folks who are heading out into the woods are going to be well enough equipped to start a fire, either with a gas stove or with matches in a fire-pit, it never hurts to have a backup. This Readyman Mini Pocket Survival stove is the perfect tool for doing just that.

Small enough to fit into a small compartment in your bag, or in your own pocket, this little tool can serve as a shelter from wind so you can easily get a small fire going. Made from 301 stainless steel and measuring in at just four and a half inches tall and two and a half wide, all you have to do to assemble is take off the small utensils on the side and clip them together into a rectangle. Along with serving as a good stove for when you’re in a tight spot, the stove includes some multipurpose punch-out tools for survival use. This is definitely not something you’d ideally want to be using to warm you up or cooking, but when the situation calls for it, it’ll be nice to know you have it on hand. Prices start at $23.
