It looks like we may be in a bit of an arms race when it comes to electric skateboards. We’ve been following the market over the past couple years and with every iteration and new release boards are getting bigger and faster. Case in point, the Raptor 2 Electric Skateboard.
This thing boasts a gigantic battery. We’re talking 3 times larger than anything else on the market right now. This means that the board can get a whopping 25 miles of range going up to 28 miles per hour. Yeah. 28. This high top speed comes courtesy of two Sensored 9080 R-Spec Ghost direct drive hub motors in the rear two wheels that propel the carbon and maple composite board and rider along the road and up hills with gradients as steep as %17. All things said – these guys may not be a well known brand at the moment – but given the specs on this board, it’s hard not to imagine that they will be soon.
