The Archer has long been one of Randolph’s most popular and coveted models, though the Massachusetts-based eyewear outfit has now revamped these sought-after sunglasses for its ongoing Fusion Collection. The Fusion Frames maintain the distinctive shape found on the original Archer, while now boasting updated premium materials and construction.
The shades’ durable metal frames are decorated via hand-applied Mazzucchelli Acetate inlays — a lightweight material comprised of a blend of cellulose plant fibers and cotton extract. Also available in a variety of other top-shelf finishes including decadent Dark Ruthenium, sleek Matte Chrome and stealthy Matte Black, the new Archer’s frames have been bestowed with hypoallergenic and self-adjusting silicone nose pads. The Fusion Archer is available in 59mm, and the classic Archer comes in two sizes, 59mm or 61mm, guaranteeing a perfect fit. Enveloped by the elegant frame are Randolph’s featherweight SkyForce Air Gradient Lite lenses which sport a gray gradient inspired by coastal skies. Complimented by matte black inlays, these advanced lenses utilize an anti-reflective backside coating, Blue Wave HEV Blue Light Management, and are 100% UVA and UVB protective. On top of the frame and inlay color options, the Fusion Frames Archers are offered with classic skull style temples for all-day comfort. Pricing for the Fusion Frames Archer is set at $299 but Randolph is offering personalized frame engravings for a $35 upcharge.
