Though the brand was only founded back in 2014, the Thursday Boot Company has already built a reputation for producing finely-crafted heritage-style American-made footwear, only rivaled by the likes of White’s, Thorogood, and Red Wing. For its latest release, the New York City boot purveyor has teamed up with American businessman, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Casamigos Tequila, Rande Gerber to deliver a decidedly-dapper motorcycle riding boot.
Dubbed the “Casa Moto,” the boots are entirely handcrafted using Goodyear welt construction, and feature full-grain leather uppers backed by glove leather interior linings. Inside, there’s also a padded collar, an antimicrobial and shock-absorbing Poron insole, and cork-bed midsoles that form to the contours of the wearer’s feet over time. The Casa Moto is secured via a highly-durable Rubi Zipper and is outfitted with 100% recycled RPET laces winding through custom-developed and thoroughly reinforced eyelets. The bottom of the boot is adorned in a new Army Track” lug outsole, and the top of the toe features an extra layer of leather to accommodate a motorcycle’s shift pedal. In addition to being water-resistant, these boots can also be re-soled, too. Offered in Black or Cafe (brown) color options, the Rande Gerber x Thursday Casa Moto Boots are available now with pricing set at $235.
