Polo shirts have been an iconic men’s clothing staple for well over a century, and though Brooks Brothers was the first brand to officially debut a mass-marketed and produced version at the tail-end of the 1800s, Ralph Lauren is undeniably the label most closely associated with the Polo.
And since the introduction of the first Ralph Lauren Polo shirt in 1972 — which was produced as tennis apparel — the company has released Polos in hundreds of different designs, patterns, and colors, though now for the first time in 49-years, Ralph Lauren is allowing customers to design their own customized shirts with the Made-to-Order Polo program. Capable of being configured in thousands of different styles and looks, these custom-ordered Polos are offered in six different shirt styles, two-dozen color combo options, and 20 different embroidered Polo player logo options, all differing in size and color. The customizable Polos also come with the option of adding bespoke text on the cuff of either sleeve. Produced in sizes ranging from XXS up to XXXL, the Ralph Lauren Made-to-Order Polo Shirt is available now, with pricing set at $168.
