Railroad Tie Bike Racks

Using your bike to get around town is always a great choice, but you need a place to store your 2-wheeled companion once you’ve reached home base. While we’ve detailed some of the best bike storage solutions out there, the Railroad Tie bike rack system is one of our new favorites.

The design team at Rail Yard Studios have taken timber carved from the heart of a tree (with aspirations of becoming a crosstie), and repurposed them for holding up your bicycles. The rack was designed to hold anywhere from 2-4 bikes, and serves as a nice piece of functional decor when your bikes are in use. The racks are available in an array of construction materials including maple, oak, hickory, elm, cherry, and beech wood. [Purchase]
