Rado enamored the wristwear world with its iconic Golden Horse watch all the way back in 1957, and after all this time, the company has continued to maintain an air of elegance that’s difficult to match. Now, the brand is celebrating the classic example the only way it knows how — with a specialized, limited-edition release.
The 2020 iteration of Rado’s Golden Horse 1957 arrives as a 37mm, Swiss-made variant, holding true to the luxurious nature of its predecessor. Each stainless-steel offering has been accented with an emblematic moving anchor, anti-reflective, curved sapphire glass, and an updated ETA C07 movement, providing wearers with over 80 hours of accurate power reserve. The gentleman’s watch will be available in four distinct colorways, including green, blue, onyx, and a leather-adorned magenta, providing a suite of expressive accessories for vintage formal wear. Only 1,957 examples are slated for production, so head to the company’s website to grab one of the limited-edition watches for $1,700 and up.
