Empty propane tanks can kill the vibe of your barbecue in a heart beat, bringing everything to a screeching halt. Make sure you’re prepared for the inevitable with Refuel, Quirky’s smart propane tank gauge.

Look, it’s not a matter of if but when- your propane tank will go empty. Question is, will you be prepared? This propane tank will connect to your smartphone using the Wink app to get up to the minute alerts, ensuring that you know exactly where your propane levels stand. No wi-fi connection? No problem. There’s also a touch-sensitive sensor that displays the gas level using a LED read-out. Just tap the display, and the green light means go. The product was invented by Boston based grill master Anthony Reddington, and retails for just under $50 – app included. [Purchase]
