All-black sneakers are one of those style staples that everyone should have in their closet, and PUMA and NEMEN just collaborated on a great new iteration. The PUMA x NEMEN Centaur Mid DISC Sneakers combine the Italian menswear brand’s motorsport racing and military gear-inspired style with PUMA’s knack for innovative athletic gear, making for one seriously tempting sneaker.
The blacked-out kicks “bring extreme functionality to high fashion design,” according to PUMA, and looking at the specs, it’s hard to argue with that assessment. PUMA’s lace-free DISC closure system ensures a secure fit, while a vertical zip opening makes for quick on/off. A traction-focused black rubber outsole wraps up the sides of the shoes for an aggressive look, while a coated neoprene upper, heat-press PUMA Formstrip at the sides, and digital print branding bring a futuristic feel. The PUMA x NEMEN Centaur Mid DISC Sneakers is a part of a new collaborative capsule collection from the brands, and they’re available now from PUMA for $190.
