Bond’s Pistol, Keaton’s Batsuit, & Other Rare Props Are Up For Auction

Pop culture junkies rejoice, as there are a ton of jaw-dropping props hitting the auction block at the end of next month. Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction 2019 will have some of the rarest pop culture collectibles from some of the best TV shows and films in history.

There are quite a few items that are estimated to rake in a hefty sum, including the Batman suit Michael Keaton wore in Tim Burton’s first film about the caped crusader, the hero axe from Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, a stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars: A New Hope, and James Bond’s silenced Walther PPK from Goldeneye. And the collection also features the coat Robert DeNiro wore in his Oscar-winning performance as Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II. The stormtrooper helmet is expected to take in between $146,000 and $220,000 while the Ghost Trap from Ghostbusters might pull anywhere from $97,000 to $146,000. The live Prop Store auction, which will be selling 900 items, will be held in London from September 30 to October 1.
