Pro-Ject Marks Its 30th Anniversary With The Gorgeous Debut PRO Turntable

Premium audio brand Pro-ject was founded in 1991, which means it turns 30 years old this year (gasp). So to celebrate the occasion, the brand is doing what it does best and releasing a brand new and strikingly beautiful turntable.

The Pro-Ject Debut PRO Turntable is the latest and arguably most impressive installment in the brand’s Debut line. Most immediately, one notices the clean lines and satin black/brushed nickel finish of the new modern design, but the Debut PRO is much more than a pretty face. The turntable is loaded up with premium components, including a brand-new one-piece carbon fiber-wrapped aluminum tonearm with adjustable height and azimuth. There’s also a nickel-plated machined aluminum bearing block, a die-cast aluminum platter with integrated TPE damping, a factory-aligned Sumiko Rainer cartridge, and height-adjustable leveling feet with integrated resonance damping. And of course, like all Pro-Ject turntables, the Debut PRO is handcrafted in Europe. You can celebrate with Pro-Ject by picking up a Debut Pro Turntable of your own when it goes on sale this August for $899.
