It is undeniable that this is the age of on-demand smartphone apps. And while we can pretty much never think of a good reason to order fast food from our iPhones, there are some services that we find very attractive. One of them is Porsche’s new Passport rental car app.

Yes, with this app you can actually rent a high-end sports car from your phone for a modest monthly fee. Okay, maybe modest is a stretch, as it costs $2,000 a month for access. But that comes with the ability to rent 8 different models including a 718 Boxster, Cayman S, Macan S, and/or Cayenne. And, for another $1,000 the range expands to 22 models, with the hits being a 911 Carrera S, Macan GTS, and the Panamera 4s. Best of all, you can swap vehicles whenever you want and track your driving stats all from the app. Unfortunately, it’s only open to folks living in the greater Atlanta area for now, but we hope to see that range open up in the near future.
