Gunter Werks’ Latest Remastered Porsche Is An Eye-Catching Irish Green 993

In contrast to many other aftermarket automotive tuning outfits, Gunther Werks is based around just one model: the Porsche 993. However, it’s not for want of versatility that the Southern California shop exclusively works on the last air-cooled 911. Rather, because of its specialization, GW has succeeded in making Porsches quite unlike anything else on the market.

For the latest installment of its bespoke ‘993 Remastered’ project, Gunther Werks has built the stunning vehicle you see before you. Done up in an eye-catching ‘Irish Green’ paint job, it comes complemented by some exposed carbon racing stripes a set of light gold Fuchs-style wheels. Open the doors and you’ll find that it’s been treated to an extensive interior overhaul, with English Tan leather and charcoal Alcantara as far as the eye can see. But Gunter Werks’ creation isn’t merely an aesthetic update — it also comes with the performance to match. So, in addition to a complete carbon fiber body panel swap, it also receives a 4.0L flat-six good for 435hp and 335lb-ft of torque. Riding on a set of custom JRZ shocks, it also features some powerful Brembo brakes. Limited to just 25 examples total, it’ll set you back some $585,000 if you want your own.
