Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid Supercar

Porsche fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the German auto maker to debut their much anticipated hybrid supercar. After years of teaser images and renderings, the brand finally decided to unveil their long awaited Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The 2015 918 Porsche Spyder Hybrid is a vehicle that was built to rival both the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1. Packed with a mid-mounted 4.6 liter V8 paired with three electric motors, the vehicle pumps out 887 horsepower, a setup that is good for a 2.8 second zero to 60 mph time, and a top speed of 186 miles per hour. The vehicle will begin hitting select dealers in limited quantities during the latter half of 2014, and will carry a price tag starting around $845,000. Watch the trailer video below.
