Category: Rides

Towards the beginning of the year Porsche made media headlines when they revealed renderings of their highly anticipated Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid vehicle, and now we have some good preliminary shots of the upcoming model.

Set in a race inspired black and white paint job, the Porsche 918 Spyder is still about a year away as far as production is concerned. This plug-in hybrid supercar will be packing a 4.0 liter V8 engine paired with two electric motors that combined put down 500 horsepower, enabling the vehicle to reach 60 miles per hour in just 3.1 seconds, and a top speed of just under 200 miles per hour. Don’t expect these to come cheap though as the sticker price should be around $845,000.
