Polyhedron Bar Cart

Let’s face it, bar carts aren’t some of the most exciting things to hit the homestead since sliced bread — that is, of course, unless they come in a polyhedron layout that meshes the architectural ingenuity of the Deathstar with a futuristic, concept-oriented design. The polyhedron bar cart is one such ware, holding a bevy of your most favored spirits thanks to the folks at Restoration Hardware.

The cart is a testament to mid-century Italian design principals, utilizing a faceted, geometric shape that will compliment any space with its staunch focus on a modernist atmosphere. It sports three hinged sections that open outward, a la blossoming florets, to reveal a recessed space that’s perfect for housing crystal glassware and bottles of booze. The wood-crafted, wire-brushed cart features a smoked-mirror-lined interior, a splayed tripod base, and a three-wheel movement that lets you place it wherever it’s needed — and at almost 80 pounds, that’s a godsend — since you might not want to pick up this 25-inch diameter, 42-inch tall cabinet when it’s full of rare and expensive spirits.
