Founded in 1973 by Jim Fosgate after he invented the world’s first purpose-built car amplifier, Rockford Fosgate is now a powerhouse in the American audio industry, praised for producing thoroughly rugged yet stellar-sounding amps and speaker systems that routinely appear as factory options from some of the country’s leading powersport brands. In addition to Harley-Davidson, Rockford Fosgate also supplies the stereos for Polaris’ off-road UTV and SXS lineups. And after years of this symbiotic relationship, Rockford Fosgate and Polaris have joined forces to deliver four new limited edition RZR models that pack the most powerful audio systems ever to leave the factory.
The new Rockford Fosgate Limited Edition RZR PRO XP is offered in both two and four-seat versions, as well as in Sport and Ultimate-specs. The RZR PRO XP Sport (and PRO XP 4 Sport) models feature a Stage 1 RF sound system with a PMX-P2 head unit, 50w speakers with 1” tweeters paired with a 100W RMS amp, and a set of rear 50W speakers backed by a 200W RMS amp. The Ultimate-spec models get a Stage 4 Rockford Fosgate 800W system with four upgraded 100W speakers and a 400W 10” subwoofer. Both the Stage 1 and Stage 4 systems are completely weatherproof and professionally factory-installed. Available now, the Polaris RZR Rockford Fosgate Limited Edition models start at $23,999.
