Polar has always been at the forefront of fitness-focused wristwear, and throughout 2020, we’ve been treated to a handful of the company’s cutting-edge devices. Now, the brand has announced its third (and final) GPS-savvy model, the Vantage V2 Premium Multisport.
On the surface, the Polar Vantage V2 doesn’t deviate from the brand’s traditional design terminology — rounded, simplistic, and tasteful. But when it comes to technology and optimization, the Vantage revels in its evolutionary process. Designed as a lightweight alternative to Polar’s more robust models, the V2 takes on a new aerospace aluminum alloy construction, glass fiber reinforced polymer, and an integrated silicone wristband, achieving a feather-like 52-gram weight, overall. Below the surface, it features all of the same traits as the company’s lauded X model, including a Polar Flow suite to enhance and inform your daily training practices, a 40-hour 346 mAh Li-pol battery, and integrated GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS systems, complementing the watch’s standard barometric altitude, incline, ascent, and descent metrics. Head to Polar’s website to pick up the Vantage V2 for $500.
