Point Break Trailer

No one really asked for it, but that hasn’t stopped the fine folks in Hollywood from re-making the classic 90’s film, Point Break. And today we get our first full look at the upcoming movie.

Directed by Ericson Core, the film stars Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah (formerly played by Keanu Reeves), a young cop who’s sole mission is to infiltrate a crew of criminal thrill seekers led by none other than Bodhi himself (played by Edgar Ramirez and formerly played Patrick Swayze). “I believe that like me, the people behind these robberies are extreme athletes. Using their skills to disrupt the international financial markets,” Utah explains during the 2 and a half minute, action packed trailer. Okay, so the trailer looks a bit cheesy, and a bit too much like Fast & Furious 8, but we’re sure it’ll be a lot of fun to watch when it releases in theaters this Christmas.
