Playing With Power: Nintendo NES Classics Game Guide

It’s official. This will be the year of video-game nostalgia. Not only do we have the release of the Sega Retro Mega Drive and the NES Classic Edition coming up this fall, but the strategy game-guide publisher Prima Games is slated to release an all-encompassing guide with of NES games with Playing With Power: Nintendo NES Classics.

It makes sense. Those games may not have had the souped-up graphics and wild storylines that we see in games today, but they were difficult and engaging all the same, enough so for there to have been a cottage industry of game-guide publishers. Now, with the NES hitting the market again, this 320 page hardcover book featuring guides, throwback advertisements for games, and even some retrospectives on some of the most classic games will be there to assist you and help relive some great memories. To top it all off? It’s shaped like an old NES cartridge. All books should be this cool. If you pre-order the book now it’ll show up around November 18th. [Purchase]
