Plastc All-In-One Credit Card

There’s a lot of things we’ve sacrificed to trim down our bulky wallets, but credit and debit cards are something we simply can’t live without. Well now you can hold all of your cards on one device with Plastc.

Much like Coin (which still hasn’t shipped), Plastc looks to replace your entire wallet with a single card. This all-in-one credit card lets you load credit, debit, gift and even loyalty cards – up to 20 at a time. Using the device is easy. Simply slide the E-Ink touchscreen to select the card you’d like to use for a given transaction, and proceed to pay for your goods or services just like you would any other card in your wallet. Plastc pairs with your smartphone using Bluetooth technology, offering up secure PIN access along with the ability to wipe your card data entirely in the unfortunate event that you lose your Plastc. It also alerts you if you’re leaving the card behind, helping to prevent losing it in the first place.

Well what about battery life? Plastc’s battery life will last up to 30 days on a single charge, and when you think it’s running close to empty, just toss it onto the included charging mat before you hit the hay, and it’s fully charged by sunrise.

The concept is promising, and one that we hope makes its way to the retail scene sooner rather than later. At this point, we don’t know exactly when the device will ship. But, interested parties can head on over to the brand’s online store to pre-order for $155.  [Purchase]
