Though best known for designing the bodies and coachwork for exotic marques like Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati, Pininfarina has recently been dabbling in the creation of its own entirely in-house-designed offerings. And after previously pulling the cover off of the state-of-the-art Battista hypercar, the famed Italian coachbuilder has now revealed a rendered concept known as the “TEOREMA.”

Touted by Pininfarina as being the “first-ever 100% virtually developed concept car,” this fully electric and fully autonomous “digital prototype” was designed using VR technology. Interestingly, the project sees Pininfarina utilizing many of its fortes and resources to deliver the TEOREMA, rolling its knack for swanky interior design, ultra-low drag coefficient bodywork, and exotic cars into a single creation. The result is a boutique hotel-inspired cabin with reclining lounge seats, set inside an exterior with pronounced air channels that have been born out of digital wind-tunnel testing. This conceptual vehicle also lets its users select between a trio of different drive modes.
