Pillbox Bat Co. Negro League Collection

Baseball was one of the first institutions to integrate – and, as such, America’s pastime is heralded for its commitment to civil rights. But, it wasn’t always that way. As a celebration of the unsung heroes of pre-integration baseball, the Pillbox Bat Co. has now released a collection of Negro League baseball bats.

Made in the USA, these bats are crafted with the very same care and attention to detail as all of Pillbox’s other offerings. Each of the seven bats in the collection, which are made from solid Ash wood, features the color scheme and logo of a Negro League team – including the Newark Eagles, Homestead Grays, Kansas City Monarchs, New York Cubans, Baltimore Black Sox, Hilldale Giants, and the Chicago American Giants. You can own one of these gorgeous historical pieces for $220, but keep in mind that they can take up to two weeks to deliver, as each is made to order.

Purchase: $250
