PicoBrew Zymatic: Automatic Beer Brewer

Technology continues to improve our daily lives, and for beer lovers, the PicoBrew Zymatic is a huge innovation. What is it you ask? It’s the world’s first fully automatic all-grain home brewing appliance.

Crowned an espresso maker for beer, the PicoBrew Zymatic was created as a collaboration project between Bill Mitchell, Jim Mitchell and Avi Gieger. All you have to do is load up your ingredients (grains, hops and water), select a recipe, and let this nifty little kitchen appliance do all of the heavy lifting for you. Just set it, and forget it. In just 3.5 hours, you will have yourself a custom, homemade brew ready to enjoy. The device automatically controls both the temperature and timing, meaning that the end product will always be consistent. Not only does the PicoBrew’s Recipe Crafter let you create your very own brew, but it lets you save that recipe to ensure that you will be able to brew reliably and repeatably. Filling the gap between home brewing and commercial brewing, the PiceBrew Zymatic is looking to make its way into your home through Kickstarter. Watch the video below.
