PF Flyers x Todd Snyder Grounder
Todd Snyder, the designer and head of the eponymous men’s wear label, has an affinity for classic brands with a focus on basics. So far he has collaborated with the likes of New Balance, Champion, and Timex. Each of those projects highlight what people love about the original brand while also adding a new flavor. By the looks of it, Snyder has achieved this same feat with his new collaboration with PF Flyers.
What stands out about this particular collaboration is the shoe’s distinct military vibe. The P.F. Flyer Grounders were originally a G.I. boot issued in the 1940s, only later making the transition to baseball shoe. The two brands highlight this fact by using a tough 14 ounce military canvas on the upper, pig skin lining, and the classic original toe bumper. Whether you are looking for a good shoe for the city or something to wear while tossing the ball around, this is a pick you won’t be disappointed with. Prices are set at $130.
