Running a succesful business is one of the hardest things a person can do. Doing it for 100 years? A major cause for celebration. Introducing the Persol 100th Anniversary Pilot Sunglasses.

These shades from the perennially cool Italian company have been released to commemorate a century of constant innovation, style, and class. More than just slapping a ‘100 years’ print on the case that these come in, Persol did something unique to the actual build of these sunglasses. Rather than using a common alloy for the pistons along the hinges and temples of the sunglasses, this pair features hardware made from a solid 18k yellow gold. It’s a subtle touch, and one that works really well with the tortoise shell acetate frames and polarized 55mm crystal lenses. Whether you have a respect for the sunglasses themselves or are just trying your best everyday to look like Steve McQueen, these are an impressive pair of sunglasses to be sure.
