An iconic combination of rugged aesthetics and plush appointments, the Mercedes-AMG G63 is already one of the most potent and imposing luxury SUVs on the market, though German tuning outfit, PerforMaster has now transformed the G63 an even more impressive machine via a series of top-shelf performance and aesthetic upgrades christened in its new AERSPHERE Wide Body Kit.
Sporting a track that’s been widened by almost 4”, this up-specced AMG kit includes a front splitter with DRLs and running boards with LEDs, and flared wheel arches, hood, wide front and duct-equipped wide rear bumpers, and front and rear spoilers — the former of which boasts high-beam LEDs — that are all made from carbon fiber. Under the hood, the G63’s stock twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 has been treated to an upgraded forced induction system, refined ECU tune, and other tweaks that allow for sub-four-second 0-60mph times as well as bumping power up to 805hp and 752ft-lbs of torque — a massive increase of 228hp and 125ft-lbs over the stock lump.
