At one point, off-road camper trailers were practically unheard of. The folks at Australia’s Patriot Campers, however, seem to be having a pretty easy time of it with exceptional releases like their X3 camper trailer.
Though it looks similar to a lot of their offerings, the X3 is actually a first for the brand. You see, this 3-person sleeper has all the same ruggedness built-right-in — like an off-road suspension, a super-durable construction, and a relatively compact closed silhouette. It’s when you open it up, however, that things get exciting. The X3 actually expands into a fully livable and luxurious camper with an indoor lounge and dining area that converts into sleeping space. It also has a fully-featured outdoor kitchen with a 2-burner gas stove, plenty of storage drawers (including a hideaway port-a-potty), internal access to the built-in fridge, and more. On top of that, there are 13 different optional upgrades that range from awnings to a swing-away BBQ and more. Pricing starts at $51,990.
