In direct reference to the French word for “weekly,” the new Kalpa Hebdomadaire watch from Parmigiani Fleurier combines both a modern shape with a delicate precision that any luxury watch collector can appreciate.

At first glance, the watch’s 18-ct rose gold case and indices makes themselves quite apparent in conjunction with its sleek black alligator leather watch strap. However, the real magic behind the Kalpa Hebdomadaire watch lies within its lux interior – thanks in part to a Haute Horlogerie calibre movement with an 8-day power reserve function and hour, minute and small seconds at the 6 o’clock position. The manual winding 28-jewel movement of this fine timepiece is also made up of 267 components manufactured entirely in Switzerland and housed beneath a handsome black dial that boasts an opaline center with snailed counters and delta-shaped luminescent-coated hands while an 18-ct rose gold buckle rounds thing out in an opulent manner.
