BRABUS is one of the first names that comes to mind when we think of top-of-the-line automotive modifications, as the German tuning company consistently cranks out some of the top-performing cars in the world. But have you ever wondered how BRABUS’s trademark in-your-face style and penchant for all-out performance would translate to a watch? Well, wonder no more, as BRABUS has teamed up with luxury watchmaker Panerai on a limited-edition Submersible.
The Panerai Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition is a heavily modified version of Panerai’s signature dive watch that has undergone the typical BRABUS treatment — but in a watch. The watch’s stealthy design was inspired by BRABUS’s Shadow Black Ops dayboats, and the typical BRABUS colors of black, gunmetal gray, and red are found throughout the watch. The case is made from lightweight Carbotech in black, while the strap is caoutchouc gray with lumed stitching. The skeletonized dial features the Brabus logo in black along with red accents on all of the hands and as an outline around the unique polarized date window. The watch is powered by a custom version of Panerai’s micro-rotor-powered P.4001 caliber movement, which boasts a 12-hour GMT function, 24-hour indicator, and a three-day power reserve.
The Panerai Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition took three years to develop, and the result is one aggressively designed and very exclusive watch. Panerai is making just 100 examples of the watch, and more information about getting your hands on one can be obtained at the brand’s website.
