Panasonic Relaunches Technics Turntables

Sep 4, 2015

Category: Tech

At one point, Technics was the leading choice for DJs, dominating the market with their high quality turntables. In fact, you couldn’t invite a DJ to your party without seeing him/her take out a Technics rig. It’s been awhile since the company has released anything new onto the market, but now they’re back with a new turntable.

We don’t know much about the new table, but we know it has a coreless stator design, twin rotors, oil impregnated high-precision bearings and a redesigned direct drive motor. The company has yet to set a release date or price, nor do we know what the arm and interface will look like. Still, it’s exciting to see their beautiful new prototype out and about, and hopefully we’ll learn more about it soon. [Purchase]
