Finisterre Built A Recycled Eco-Friendly Waterproof Boot With Palladium

Founded by Tom Kay in an apartment above a surf shop, Finisterre has remained committed to making better and more sustainable products since day one. From the materials they use to the manufacturers they work with, the British adventure brand has taken an approach in which the longevity of our planet comes before the pursuit of profit. With their latest collaboration, they’ve teamed up with French footwear manufacturer Palladium to offer an eco-friendly take on the popular Pampa hiking boot.

Billed as a boot built for those who roam, the collaboration takes the best of the iconic Pampa silhouette and revamps it with a sustainable construction. For instance, the upper is made from recycled PET plastic, whereas the sole and lace tips are made from recycled rubber waste. With its greener makeover, the Pampa’s upper also gains a completely waterproof membrane, keeping your feet dry in the wettest of weather. And in order to make sure you don’t miss a step, Palladium has fitted the boot with a grippy sole unit for dependable traction. Available in three nature-inspired colorways, the Palladium x Finisterre Pampa is on sale now for $130.
