Basic four-sided square or rectangular homes seldom offer much in the way of character, uniqueness, or style, though that couldn’t be further from the case with this conceptual modern hillside structure from design firm, P&M Studio.

Perched atop a small hill overlooking a river, the beautifully rendered cantilevered dwelling boasts a single level of interior living space adorned in a combination of horizontal wood slats and floor-to-ceiling windows shrouded behind rectangular steel stock reinforced via diagonal i-beams. Underneath the main floor lies a small deck area capped off with a metal railing. The bottom of the main floor also boasts the same horizontal wood and i-beam arrangement. Inside, a ground-level entrance at the top of the hill opens up into the rendered home’s roomy, open floor plan which has been decorated via an array of thoroughly contemporary furniture, artworks, and lighting.
