Outerknown Releases Its First Sustainable Bag Capsule With Newlife Project

Until recently, Outerknown was lauded as one of the most sustainably-focused outfits in the menswear space. Don’t get it twisted; they’re still at the top of their game when it comes to recycled garments, but now, they’re also about to become one of the most notable names in gear, thanks to the company’s first sustainable bag capsule.

The brand’s expansion into bags isn’t a solo mission, however. Outerknown has linked up with Newlife Project to create a range of durable, utility-focused options for the sustainable enthusiast, including a small, bag-savvy zip pouch, sacoche, tall tote, and backpack. Each item is crafted from an abrasion-resistant Cordura Eco Fabric and features up to 70% recycled materials, helping to rid landfills and waterways of degenerative plastics. For extended durability, the bags have also been treated with a water-repellent coating and easy-grab phosphorescent rope handles, complementing their dense, polyester yarn demeanor. Head to Outerknown’s website to check out the full collection, which starts at around $98.
