Outdoor Tech Rhino Bluetooth Headphones

We’ve all heard the buzz about water and sweat-resistant earbuds but waterproof over-ear headphones? That’s another story entirely. Thankfully LA-based Outdoor Tech Design Lab is here with the Rhinos World’s Toughest Headphones, a rugged, waterproof, and smash-proof pair of Bluetooth devices that can stand up to just about anything you or Mother Nature through its way.

The goal here was to create a pair of headphones that even the most aggressive outdoor enthusiast couldn’t manage to break. Combine that with a pair of 40MM drivers for incredible sound quality, an IPX6 waterproof rating, and the ability to withstand temperatures as low as -4°F and we believe Outdoor Tech has themselves a winner. They’re not just for music either. Rhino also comes equipped with a walkie-talkie function, GPS location sharing, and connects to your phone so you can answer calls without having to remove them. The right earpiece also hosts a control panel where answering phone calls, skipping tracks, controlling volume, and pausing your tunes is a breeze. They’re currently available for reservation on Kickstarter and slated to retail for around $170. [Purchase]
